Merhan from Inspect Canada was fantastic. He explained everything very professionally and in a manner I could understand. He was so efficient. Our report was ready before I even got home. Inspect Canada made everything very easy for us. Krystal was able to book us in quickly and found a time that worked around our schedule. David was our inspector and I must say what a thorough and professional job! I initially debated whether price of inspection was worth it, but I definitely think it was well worth the money. Not only did David note couple minor defects/issues on our townhouse, he really took his time to provide information on technical/structural aspects of the house that were important for future house maintenance. He really took his time to explain everything even if they were all working fine/normal which helped re-assure me. I would highly recommend David and Inspect Canada if you are looking for an inspector.

I had my home inspection done by Inspect Canada with Will Soldat, the experience and insights he provided is very useful for us as a first time home buyer in Canada to understand what it means to maintain and keep up our home. His recommendations and suggestions would prove very useful to us in future.

Inspect Canada did a wonderful job inspecting my first home purchase. Setting up a time and date was easy and painless. Prices on their website were transparent and reasonable. David home inspection and report is very professional. David is very thorough, has the experience and expertise in all important aspects of house construction. He covered every aspect of the house from top to bottom and on all its sides. He also offered numerous tips on what we could do to fix found issues. He is very patient and answers all questions. William and David are professional home inspectors who managed to inspect my newly built house with their expertise. During walk through, they were able to evaluate all the main systems and components of my house and point out and explain to me thoroughly the possible repairs before I buy the house. Also, the team, including the administration co-ordinator, Krystal are patient and responsive. I would highly recommended!

Used their services twice before buying a property. Their inspector, Mehran, provides a stellar service! Will use again in the future. Super quick turnaround time for booking the appointments: Once booked a visit on Sunday (when everything is normally closed) for the next morning (Monday!), and another time booked at 3pm for an inspection at 6:30pm the same day. Inspector provides very detailed assessment, with excruciating attention to detail, ranging from the temperature of the hot water, to finding water leaks, faulty grout/caulking jobs, to inspecting the safety valves and fire extinguishers, running the dishwasher and washer for leaks, looking inside the electrical panel for double taps, nail pops, door and cabinet hinges, water damage underneath sinks, foundation supports, piping, subfloors, squeaky or improperly installed laminate flooring, cracks in foundation or parking concrete, fireplace safety, etc. everything! They perform the inspection (about 1h) and then they give you a final walk through in person or they can do the whole thing without you needing to be there. In the end you get a web report (with pictures, and detailed assessment). Once inspection is done, if you can’t go on site, the technician that did the work contacts you by phone/sms, and you can ask them questions all you want. I was very pleased by the fact that I could talk to the person that was on site to perform the work, and not, say, a receptionist that was removed from the process. Very friendly and professional. The report that they produce is viewable on the web, you get a magic link (you can share it easily without having to fuss with passwords), and the site is snappy. The pictures are embedded with the text, so it's all in one place, and easy to follow. You could print it off and keep for your records, or save a PDF. For each picture, I liked how the report indicates whether something is believed to be normal, or whether you should be worried about it -- which is good e.g. if you don't know anything about how how holes in a wall or the flanges around a boiler should look like! In terms of Tech, they are equipped with temperature sensors (I believe it's IR), which can detect some things like leaks or moisture in places that are obstructed from view. I thought that was a plus. Unfortunately, it doesn't tell you if the leaks are moldy -- that would require lab analysis and would take several days. At the time i used the service, Radon tests (emanating from some granite countertops, suggestive of radiation) and asbestos tests (sometimes found in stucco/popcorn ceilings) were not possible -- those are also things that require lab work, and can't be done in a 1h inspection. Awesome service offering overall. It can be awkward to be inspecting a house that you’re hoping to buy while the current owners are there. Our inspector Mehran put everyone at ease, and helped with the dialogue to be able to have conversations in private. Very diplomatic and professional. He was also able to recommend how to repair the problems that are identified, and how to prioritize them. Thanks Mehran and Inspect Canada!

Responsive, adaptive and professional - I hired David to inspect a small strata complex for capital planning. This is not a typical request, but David was flexible in offering his help and him and his team did a wonderful job onsite. They were patient while I coordinated with multiple owners, competitive in their pricing and thorough. David explained everything really well - and I even received detailed recorded videos of all the drain and sanitary line inspections. It was really beneficial being able to work with Inspect Canada as they were able to offer this latter service along with the inspection which many other providers cannot.
