★★☆☆☆
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our home inspection experience. Mr. Reza inspected our home before we purchased it, but two significant problems were not identified during the inspection: the master bathroom shower did not have functioning hot water, and the dishwasher was not working properly. We moved into the house only two weeks ago and discovered these issues when we actually started using the home. The shower problem was especially serious. We had no idea there was an issue, and we had to open the wall and pay for plumbing work to replace the shower valve/cartridge. Our plumber also told us that this appeared to be an old problem, not something that had suddenly developed after we moved in. What is most disappointing is that these issues could have been identified through very basic testing. Simply turning on the shower and checking the hot water, as well as properly testing the dishwasher, could have alerted us to these problems before we purchased the property. We paid for a professional inspection specifically so we could make an informed decision and move into our new home with confidence. Instead, we ended up with unexpected repairs, additional costs, and significant inconvenience shortly after moving in. We understand that an inspection cannot identify every possible problem in a home. However, we believe that basic and important functions such as hot water in the master bathroom and a functioning dishwasher should be properly tested and reported. Based on our experience, we are very disappointed with the inspection and would encourage future homebuyers to ask very specific questions about what is actually tested during the inspection.
