How to Replace a Sink Drain Assembly

shadow

During our home inspections sinks are often where we find the most leaks. When the sealant or plumber putty that is applied between the sink strainer and the sink fails, it will leak. Rubber gaskets that have dried out or were improperly installed will also cause leaks. Leaky sinks can create water damage. Small leaks are often much more damaging since they go unnoticed for a long time. If you do find a small leak under your sink, it is extremely important to deal with it as soon as possible.

In this video you will see what tools and equipment you need to fix simple leaks. However, if you are not very handy consider having a professional fix it, please visit our trade directory to find qualified professional.
